Hot water bottles are warmer and healthier. When using a hot water bottle for heating, as its temperature gradually decreases, the human body needs to continuously generate more heat to maintain the temperature, effectively improving the body's ability to resist cold. Moreover, the temperature inside the bed remains relatively constant, which also prevents excessive loss of water and salt during sleep.
Place the hot water bottle on your feet for better heating effect. Medical research has shown that people's feet are far away from the heart, with limited blood supply, and the thin fat layer in the feet often results in lower local temperatures. And the feet are the starting and ending points of the Foot San Yin Meridian and Foot San Yang Meridian, which are closely related to the internal organs and meridians of the whole body. If a hot water bag is placed on the soles of the feet during sleep, it can warm the foot meridians, promote the circulation of qi and blood, and allow heat to reach all parts of the body.
The water temperature in the hot water bag should not be too high, generally ranging from 60 ºC to 70 ºC. Before use, it is necessary to check the tightness of the plug, and it is best to wrap it with a towel before use.
In the cold winter, the following precautions should be taken when using a hot water bottle:
The rubber gasket at the bottom of the lid is an important component to ensure that the hot water bag does not leak. Do not pour the rubber gasket with the water when pouring it.
2. Do not directly pour boiling water into it. The water temperature should be around 90 ºC to prevent premature aging of the rubber.
3. Never fill the bag with oily dirty water to prevent deformation and aging of the bag.
4. Do not overfill, it is better to cover the hot water bag with a cloth cover.
5. When not in use, do not hang the hot water bag in places where sunlight shines, nor should it be hung in the kitchen.
6. Hot water bags should not come into contact with acidic, oily, or alkaline substances, and should not be washed with a brush or soap to remove stains. Do not mix with chemicals such as camphor balls.
After winter, dry the water droplets in the hot water bag, fill it with an appropriate amount of air, and store it in a dark and dry place.
